On this day, November 4th, in the year 1970, TEAM held it's first ever General Meeting. The meeting was for all interested 'Engineering Personnel', who were not eligible to be members of the Society of Engineers of the Manitoba Telephone System. The purpose of this meeting was to set up an Association of Engineering Personnel through the creation of a Constitution and set of By Laws. This was the beginning of what would eventually become TEAM Union.
