2014 TEAM Annual Scholarships

The TEAM Board has made significant changes to the Annual Scholarships. For the first time, in addition to scholarships awarded to the children of members, up to four TEAM members pursuing their own development will be eligible for scholarships of $500 each. Scholarship details and application forms.

Blue Cross Health Plan

The plan re-opener deadline is this Friday!

Members already enrolled in the Extended Health Plan will have received a new Blue Cross card, now with Travel Health coverage:

Covers charges for emergency, surgical, and hospital services and related expenses incurred outside the province of residence (including outside Canada) as a result of an unexpected accident or illness.

Benefits are based on the balance not covered by Manitoba Health or your provincial health care plan.
The TEAM office can provide more details on request.
Eye Exam Reimbursement

In accordance with Article 29 – Eye Exams, employees are eligible to claim reimbursement of up to $80 every two years. Claim forms are available on Our Source>Forums >Eye Exam Reimbursement.

On average those workers earned $6.10/hour more ($7.85/hour more for women) because their unions negotiated fair wages and work hours. The fair wages and work hours that unions negotiated delivered nearly $43.3 million more every week into the provincial economy through better paycheques.
