In accordance with Section 70, Part 1 of the Canada Labour Code, the Company agrees to deduct from the salary of individuals covered by this Agreement, whether or not the individual is a member of the Union, an amount of the regular bi-weekly Union dues and remit the amount to the Union forthwith.

The Union shall indemnify and save harmless the Company, from any losses, damages, costs, liabilities or expenses suffered or sustained by the Company as a result of any such deduction or deductions from payrolls.
