On this day in 1919 June 3rd 2019

Today in Winnipeg General Strike history: June 3, 1919 - Winnipeg newspapers print Citizens' Committee ads demanding the deportation of "alien" workers, blaming immigrants for the Strike.

Elsewhere in Manitoba and Canada, sympathetic strikes are held in Brandon, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, and Amherst, Nova Scotia.
