Re:            Call for Nominations – TEAM-IFPTE Local 161 Board

In accordance with Bylaw 14 - Election Procedure, the Election Committee seeks nominations from members for the following positions on the TEAM-IFPTE Board:

Board Officers:

• President
• Vice-President
• Secretary
• Treasurer

Board Members:

Six Board Members

• All Board Officers and Members serve a three year term.
• The positions of President and Vice-President are also elected as IFPTE Convention Delegates.
• Nominations must bear the signature of the Nominee and at least ten members-at-large in good standing.
• Nominations must be received by the Election Committee (mail to B2000), by November 15, 2013.

The TEAM Board ensures good governance and oversight in advancing the social and economic welfare of its members, negotiating such matters as compensation, conditions of work, and benefits and representing members in discussion with the employer.  The duties of the Board Officers and the Board Members are outlined in the Constitution and Bylaws.
