With around 200 attending, the Pension Protection Picnic held on June 29th at the Goldeye’s Promenade was a great success!   Our guests from the Manitoba Federation of Labour, WAPSO (IFPTE Local 162) & the IFPTE International office were impressed by the level of member participation, the desire to fully understand the issues, including protection of future pension benefit levels (click here), and by the strength of support for our Negotiating Committee.

 

Paul Shearon, Secretary-Treasurer of the IFPTE, assured us of the ongoing support of the International and his commitment in helping us to negotiate a fair collective agreement.
