Education Bursary/Scholarship Application

The Telecommunications Employees Association - IFPTE Local 161 (TEAM) is offering six bursaries/scholarships of $500.00 each to children of TEAM members. These bursaries/scholarships are offered to first year students in post secondary education enrolled in university, community college, or trade school/apprenticeship.
To be eligible, the student must be a solely dependent child or stepchild, under 21 years of age of a TEAM member in good standing, and be enrolled in their first year of post secondary education at the time of application.
All information received by the TEAM office and the Bursary/Scholarship Committee will remain confidential. The decisions of the committee are based on scholastic achievement, community involvement, and the student's volunteerism. The decisions of the committee are final. All applications must be received at the TEAM office by September 25, 2010.
Student information
The application must be accompanied by the following information:
A copy of the official transcript of marks for all final Grade 12 courses or equivalent technical or academic transcripts detailing marks and grades obtained.
2.Proof of first year enrollment acceptance in a post secondary institution for the 2010-2011 year.
3.A Brief Resume of past employment, interests, volunteerism, and future career plans.
